Living in the county
of Norfolk in the UK just a short drive from the coast I
have a close affinity with the ocean, its constant movement, colour and unpredictable nature has meant I never tire from being close to it anywhere in the world. Plus a desire to search out the wild quiet places of our landscape has brought about a close relationship with our fragile environment and a relaxed simple uncluttered style of photography, one with which I just enjoy "being there"
From early on in my photographic learning I wanted to create something different and was drawn to experiment with multiple exposures and ICM (intentional Camera movement) to blur and abstract my images creating texture and movement. Whilst being inspired by impressionist artists helped focus my work to create an artistic interpretation of the landscape as I see it.
Now working on Seascapes, Landscape, ICM & Abstract images allows me to be drawn back to the subject I love above all else the Ocean and its endless coastline.
